Jira Connector

Project year: Summer, 2008

The Jira Connector is a live-sync between Oracle's JDeveloper IDE and Atlassian's Jira issue tracker. The connector is similar to Mylyn's solution which is packaged with the Eclipse IDE, with the exception that the Oracle offering is driven by a metadata framework that allows developers to specify look/feel and other settings at runtime based on their needs.

This was primarily a Java project, integrating REST, SOAP and various XML technologies to marshal the various pieces of the Jira data model to and from the Oracle environment. I worked on this project for Oracle during a summer internship.
